In August 1999, a portion of the Fund was transferred to the project at Amarpurkashi. The following summary gives a break down of the subsequent utilisation of this transfer in two separate schools around APK:

Children's Fees Subsidy
During this year, in addition to the scholarship fees paid out as described above, a further portion of the Children's Scholarship Fund was used to subsidise the school fees of an amazing 330 children at the Gramodaya School, Amarpurkashi: Total: £314.00Special Teacher's Training
In the summer of 2000, ten teachers of the Gramodaya School, Amarpurkashi, received special training to enhance their teaching skills for the benefit of the children. This included lessons in English and child care: Total: £194.00Building Expenses
