INTAF Aims and Objectives

The aims of INTAF are :

1. To identify policies, programmes and projects that are contributing most to the all-round development of the rural poor.
2. To publicise these policies, programmes and projects and to help make them as effective as possible.
3. To monitor and evaluate the progress of these policies, programmes and projects.

How will these objectives be achieved?

1. Study visits by the workers and academics involved at the grass root level will be commissioned to prepare reports of selected projects. On the basis of these reports the most effective and beneficial projects and programmes shalt be selected.
2. These reports will be publicised internationally to bring the work and the main workers behind the work, to the attention of the wortd community.
3. Friendty links, support groups and pressure groups will be formed to provide as and when possible, moral, technical, psychologlcal or financial support to these projects and the workers involved.
4. Advice, monitoring and evaluation service by experienced personnel will be provided to those who need them.
